Annette Palmer Obituary

            Mrs. Annette Brewington Palmer, age 69, wife of Harold Dean Palmer, Jr. of 511 Forest St., Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at her home.

            Mrs. Palmer was born in Union, February 6, 1955, a daughter of the late James F. “Black Cat” Brewington and Ethel Haney Brewington. She attended Union High School and was formerly employed with Dollar General Distribution. She was member of New Hope Baptist Church in Buffalo. Mrs. Palmer was a very kind-hearted women who loved her family and friends.

            Surviving in addition to her husband are a stepdaughter, Kelly Harris and husband Brent of Cowpens; a stepson, Brook Palmer of Jonesville; a brother-in-law, Donnie Palmer and wife Melissa of Pacolet; four nieces, Angela Smith Sinclair and husband Jeffrey, Penny Smith Bahas, Amy Smith Belue and husband Mickey and Tammy Chaney; and two nephews, Terry Wayne Smith, Sr. and wife Loree and Eric Chaney and wife Krissi. She is also survived by fourteen great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Jean Smith, Edna Chaney, and Elaine Smith and a nieces, Denise Chaney.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Larry Goins and Rev. Johnny Burgess. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

            Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the church prior to the services.

            Active pallbearers will be Mickey Belue, Terry Wayne Smith, Sr., Kalhin Bahas, Nathin Bahas, Eric Chaney and Jeffrey Sinclair.

            Memorials may be made to the Annette B. Palmer Fund, PO Box 148, Union, SC 29379.

            The family will be at the home, 511 Forest St., Jonesville, SC 29353.
