Dwight S. Kurtz

Mr. Dwight Stephen Kurtz, age 60, husband of Sally Felder Kurtz of 3693 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, passed away suddenly Monday, April 15, 2019.

Mr. Kurtz was born in Union, November 10, 1958, a son of the late Harold and Margaret Goodman Kurtz.  He was a 1976 graduate of Union High School. He continued his education by receiving a degree in Forestry from Horry-Georgetown Tech and graduating Clemson University in 1981 with a degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Kurtz began his career with the US Army Corp of Engineers, then moved on to the private sector as an engineering consultant. He founded his own engineering firm, DePaul Engineering, and worked alongside his two sons. He was a licensed professional engineer in the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia.

Dwight was an avid gardener and enjoyed kayaking on the rivers of South Carolina. He served as vice-president of the Union County Clemons Club and was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church.     

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Ashley Margaret Kurtz and husband Jae Wilson of Greenville; two sons, Justin Dwight Kurtz and wife Brandy of Buffalo and Joseph Patrick Kurtz of the home; a sister, Greta Kurtz Roberts and husband Toney of Winston Salem, NC; two brothers, Michael Lee Kurtz of Buffalo and William Brian Kurtz of Lilburn, GA; seven grandchildren: Daniel August Kurtz, Nathaniel Stephen Kurtz, Elijah Samuel Owens, Aeden Chappell Owens, Lillianna Jayde Margaret Kurtz, Maddalena Rose Kurtz, and Aurrellia Violet Kurtz and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, William Michael Roberts.

He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Ratchford Kurtz, a sister, Kristi Lucille Kurtz and his maternal grandparents, Currie Lee and Lucille Crowell Goodman. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Augsburg Lutheran Church conducted by Pastor Maria Miller. Interment will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Alan Whitener, George McGrath, Ben Felder, Brian Kurtz, Toney Roberts, Jae Wilson, Daniel Kurtz and Tyler Kirby.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at Holcombe Funeral Home.

Robert Gaston “Buddy” Montgomery

Mr. Robert Gaston “Buddy” Montgomery, age 77 of 1580 Sunnyside Drive, York SC, husband of Linda Adams Montgomery, passed away, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Montgomery was born in Rock Hill, SC July 6, 1941, a son of the late Cordie R. Montgomery and Glaconia Lucas Montgomery. He was retired from Duke Power and had also retired from York County Recycling Center. Mr. Montgomery was a member of Masonic Lodge #385 of Rock Hill, a Shriner, Scottish Rites and Hillbilly. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #1318 and President of the Procrastinators Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Robert Wayne Montgomery and wife Janice of York; a sister, Francis M. Hawkins and husband Hawk of AL; two brothers: Tommy L. Montgomery and wife Peggy of Rock Hill and Bobby Montgomery and wife Joyce of AL; grandchildren: Travis Montgomery of Simpsonville, Tabitha Montgomery Moss and husband Richard of Smyrna and Layne and Malyn Moss. Mr. Montgomery was predeceased by brothers, Harold Lucas, Ronald Montgomery and Richard Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 18, 2019 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel in Union conducted by Rev. Dustin Madala. Burial will be in the Porter Gallman Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Barry Hawkins, Kenneth Adams, Marshall Adams, Wayne Belue, Robin Goings, Richard Adams and Greg Harris.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Natalie Annette Williford

Miss Natalie Annette Williford, age 22 of 726 Rice Avenue Ext, Apt. #11-B, Union, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019.

Miss Williford was born in Spartanburg, October 12, 1996, a daughter of Brenda Fish Williford and Russell Williford and his wife Kathy all of Union. She was a graduate of the ACHIEVE Program in Spartanburg and was a bookkeeper for Jimmy’s Fresh Air Galaxy. Miss Williford was a member of Philippi Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a daughter, Kali Rae Williford; a brother, Nathan “Bubba” Williford and his girlfriend, Charlie Betenbaugh; a step-sister, Taylor Gibson; a step-brother, Nick Monroe; her boyfriend, Martez Crosby; an aunt, Glenda Fish; her maternal grandmother, Sandra “Ma-Ma” Bobo; her paternal grandmother, Judy Woods; a maternal step-grandmother, Margaret Williford; a niece, Ellie Williford; a nephew, Sam Williford all of Union; an aunt, Cammie Jordan and husband Foster of Chapin; an uncle, Richie Gault of Spartanburg; and a number of cousins. Miss Williford was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Danny Fish, paternal grandfather, Paul Williford and maternal step-grandfather, Bruce “Pa-Pa” Bobo.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 19, 2019 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will be at Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery.

Brandon Keith Rogers

Mr. Brandon Keith Rogers, age 38, husband of Jennifer Wilkins Rogers, of 805 Browns Creek Church Rd., Union, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019.

Mr. Rogers was born August 28, 1980 in Spartanburg a son of Susan Renee Brock Millwood and husband Mike of Union and the late Grady Keith Rogers.  He was a 1999 graduate of Union High School.  He had been employed with Timken for the last 15 years and was previously employed with BMW in Greer.  He attended New Hope Baptist Church.  Mr. Rogers was a 3rd Degree Mason with the Buffalo Masonic Lodge. 

Surviving in addition to his wife, mother, and step-father are three daughters, Rebekah Hope Rogers, Rachel Elizabeth Rogers, and Isabella Leigh Rogers all of the home; a sister, Shanna Elizabeth Williams and husband Nicholas of Union; a step-sister, Kelly Millwood of Union; his step-grandparents, Frank and Mary Millwood of Union; his in-laws, Hope and Roger Turner of Buffalo; one niece; three nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was predeceased by a son, Jack Wilkins Rogers; his paternal grandparents, Chubb and Eleanor Rogers and his maternal grandparents, Doc and Elizabeth Brock.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Monday, April 22, 2019 at Putman Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Tommy Mann and Rev. Johnny Burgess.  Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:30 PM, Monday, April 22, 2019, prior to the service at Putman Baptist Church.

The family is at the home of his parents Susan and Mike Millwood, 152 Pineland Avenue, Union, SC 29379 and at the home of his mother-in law, Hope and Roger Turner, 240 Mudbridge Road, Buffalo, SC 29321.


Rogers L. “Bo” Rabb, Jr.
Union, SC


Mr. Rogers L. “Bo” Rabb, Jr., age 62, husband of Melanie Robinson Rabb, of 117 Wedgewood Court, Union, died suddenly on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Union Medical Center.

Bo was born March 18, 1957 in Winnsboro, a son of the late Rogers L. Rabb, Sr. and Mary McManus Rabb.  He was a graduate of Union High School and attended USC—Union.  He retired from Tyger River Correctional Institution.  Bo had worked at WBCU Radio for 18 years and is known as the “Voice of the Yellow Jackets.”  He was twice named Sportscaster of the Year by the South Carolina Broadcaster’s Association.  Bo was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a part-time member of the South Carolina National Guard.  He was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and ran the sound.  Bo loved God, his church, wife, family, pets, music and golfing.  He was a sports enthusiast and was an avid Union Yellow Jacket and Clemson Tiger Fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife of almost 27 years, are his brother, William R. “Bill” Rabb, II and wife Teressa of Buffalo; two sisters-in-law, Cathy Robinson and Sherry Connell and husband John; two brothers-in-law, Tim Robinson and wife Kathy and Rick Knopf of Union; nieces and nephews, Kelly and Bobby Tucker, Margaret Roberts, Katie Beach and husband David, John Connell II, Laura Connell, Reah Robinson, and Raven Sumner and husband Chris; great-nieces and nephews, De’Andre, Jaida, Tatiana, Carmen, Noah, Maddox, Hayden, Spencer, Lanie, and Jakob.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth “Betsy” Rabb and Anne R. Knopf. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 18, 2019 at First Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Robbie Stollger and Rev. Robert Emory.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church.

Maudie Pelham Kirby

Mrs. Maudie Pelham Kirby, age 86, wife of Paul “Bo” Kirby of 192 Rogerstown Rd., Jonesville, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Union Medical Center.

Mrs. Kirby was born in Jonesville, October 16, 1931, a daughter of the late James Hubert Pelham and Mae Patterson Pelham. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School and a member of Gilead Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Dianne Woods Vanderford and husband Lawrence of Union; a son, Phil Kirby and wife Patricia of Jonesville; five grandchildren, Michael Woods, Rodney Woods and Amanda, Charles Kirby, Justin Kirby and Cassie Sanders and husband Drew; and nine great-grandchildren with two more expected. Mrs. Kirby was predeceased by a daughter, Belinda Paulette Kirby, a son, James Paul Kirby and a brother, James Hubert “June” Pelham, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Gilead Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Eddie Saxon.  Burial will be at Jonesville Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Charles Kirby, Justin Kirby, Rodney Woods, Ethan Woods, Noah Woods and Mike Kirby.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the church prior to the service.

James L. Littlejohn
Jonesville, S.C.


Mr. James Lassitter Littlejohn, age 97 of Parks Farm Rd., Jonesville, widower of Ruby Patrick Littlejohn. passed away at his home, Sunday, April 14, 2019.

Mr. Littlejohn was born in Spartanburg, May 11, 1921, a son of the late Thomas A. and Eva Lassitter Littlejohn.  He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and attended Spartanburg Junior College and Tulsa University in Oklahoma. He was a retired licensed forester.

Mr. Littlejohn was a veteran of WWII having served as a flight engineer with the 8th Army Air Corp stationed at Bury St. Edmonds Air Base in England.  He was the last survivor of the original ten crewmembers on board his B17 bomber.  Mr. Littlejohn was also retired from the S.C. National Guard, Headquarters Company, 218th Infantry Division and was the first Commanding Officer of the Jonesville Unit.

Mr. Littlejohn was a member of Gilead Baptist Church where he was a choir member. He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW, and the S.C. Tree Farmers Association. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He loved to garden and for many years he and Mr. Bill Craig grew large amounts of vegetables to give away to his many friends. In his younger day, Mr. Littlejohn was in much demand as a Master of Ceremonies and beloved stand-up comic, providing entertainment for many civic organizations.

Surviving are a son, James P. “Pat” Littlejohn and wife Deborah; a brother, W.T. Littlejohn and wife Wilhelmena all of Jonesville; a grandson, Patrick Miles Littlejohn of Jonesville; two great-grandchildren, Asher Littlejohn and Paylen Littlejohn; and two nieces, Cindy P. Williams and Tina P. Evans both of Spartanburg.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12:30 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Gilead Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Eddie Saxon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Norris Fowler, Lonnie Gist, Michael H. Robinson, Gary Proctor, Tommy Ivey, Marion Comer, Bryson Scruggs, Dennis Deaton and Bobby Bryant.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MSA Hospice, 720 S. Duncan ByPass, Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home of his son, Pat Littlejohn, 130 Littlejohn Rd., Jonesville.

Mr. Kerry Freeman, age 60, husband of Julie Baylis Freeman of Granbury, TX, passed away suddenly, April 5, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Freeman is the son of Ray and Ruby Freeman of Union. He was a graduate of Union High School and was a pilot for American Airlines.

Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are two children, Michael Freeman and Kate Birdsong both of Texas; four grandchildren; two brothers, Steve Freeman and wife Patsy of Union and David Freeman and wife Sandra of Maryville, TN.

Funeral services were held on April 10, 2019 in Granbury, TX.

A memorial service will be held in Union at a later date.

Mr. Bobby Dale English, age 59, husband of Kathy Bledsoe English of 132 Pine Lane, Union, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at his home.

Mr. English was born in Laurens Co., December 14, 1959, a son of Ira Cleo Brewington Carroll of Clinton and the late Bobby D. English.  He was employed with Nestle Corp. and was a member of the SC State Guard. Bobby was a loving and kind husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his step-father, James Carroll; two step-daughters, Angie Painter and Crystal Nave both of Union, seven grandchildren, Nathan Adams, who was reared in the home, Hailey Justice, Catherine Nave,  Kensley Palmer, Samuel Gregory, Matthew Painter and Makylie Jennings; a sister, Wanda English of Clinton; four brothers, David English and wife Teresa, Tony English, Mitchell English and wife Kim, and Jason English and wife Stephanie all of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Johnny Burgess.  Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery.

Billie Grace Whitehead

Mrs. Billie Grace Vaughn Whitehead, age 82, formerly of Union, widow of Frank Whitehead, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at White Oak Manor in Newberry.

Mrs. Whitehead was born in Union, January 16, 1937, a daughter of the late William W. Vaughn and Grace Albright Vaughn. She retired from Piggly Wiggly having worked in retail grocery for over 40 years. Mrs. Whitehead was of the Baptist faith and had attended First Baptist Church and Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Alman of Ohio;  two grandchildren, Jenifer Bradley and husband Mitch of Chapin and Frankie Alman and wife Tammy of Ohio; two sisters, Shirley DeBruhl and husband Ray of North Carolina and Katheryn Jolly of Union; a brother, William W. “Junior” Vaughn and wife Tomi of Union;  three great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Blake Alman and Alyssa Shipley.  Mrs. Whitehead was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Tyler, two sisters, Dorothy Fant and Mary Gregory and two brothers, Harry and Harley Vaughn.

Graveside service were held Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Lower Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Rob Williams.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Mrs. Nadine Davis Smith, age 83, widow of Bobby Gene Smith, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Smith was born June 19, 1935 in Lockhart, a daughter of the late Vester Leroy Davis and Ruth Sealey Davis. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School and Columbia Business College.  She was retired as secretary of Lockhart Schools and Brown’s Creek Water Company after 42 years of service. She was a member of Lockhart First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Allie Candler WMU, and a member of the Relay for Life Team.  She was also a member of Woodmen of the World.

Surviving are three sisters, Ila D. Johnson of Lockhart, Lora D. Fielder of Union, and Ailene D. Ashe of Lockhart; a special son, John Lee Robbins; six nieces, Kathy Revis, Lora Ann Vaughan, Rhonda Greer, Jill Scarborough, Cynthia Adams, and Cheryl Rop; four nephews, Don Ray Vaughan, Jr., Ronald Y. Vaughan, Carl Alexander, and Jimmy Johnson; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Roberts, and a special friend and caregiver, Debbie Rashe.  Mrs. Smith was predeceased by a brother, Alex Davis and three brothers-in-law, James F. Johnson, Dr. Gerald Fielder and James Neely Ashe, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Lockhart First Baptist Church.

Mr. Harold Dean “Pee Wee” Bradburn, age 72, of 842 Webber Lake Rd., Union, SC widower of Irma Wilson Bradburn, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Bradburn was born July 19, 1946, a son of the late Jack Bradburn and Blanche Lloyd Bradburn.  He retired from Milliken and was also a mechanic for 40 years at Bradburn’s Garage. 

Surviving are two daughters, Sheila Frederick and husband Ron of FL and Kristy Harris of Union; two sons, Billy Bradburn and wife Linda of GA and Brian Bradburn of the home; two brothers, Monty Bradburn and wife Debra and Stevie Bradburn and wife Barbara all of Union; a number of grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 4 brothers.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Scott Cobb. 

Visitation will be Monday, April 8, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Mr. Bradburn’s home, 842 Webber Lake Rd., Union, SC 29379.

William Thomas “Bo” Keith

Mr. William Thomas “Bo” Keith, age 46, of 201 Vanderford Rd., Union, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2019.

Mr. Keith was born in Union, November 16, 1972, a son of Mary Keith Fields and a step-son of Michael Fields of Union.

Surviving two sons, T.J. Keith and Jesse Keith both of Union; a sister, Amy Keith and fiancé Julian Bates of North Carolina; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was the grandson of the late William Tanner Keith and Myrtle Turner Keith.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Holcombe’s Jonesville Chapel conducted by Rev. Mike Scales

Curtis Wilbur “Wibby” Hodge, Jr.
Simpsonville, SC


Mr. Curtis Wilbur “Wibby” Hodge, Jr., age 75, husband of Carolyn Johns “Pitsy” Hodge, of 603 N. Almond Dr., Simpsonville, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.

Mr. Hodge was born August 20, 1943 in Union, a son of the late Curtis Wilbur Hodge and Mary Trantham Hodge.  He was a graduate of Union High School and the University of South Carolina.  Mr. Hodge was a football player at Union High School, where he participated in the Shrine Bowl as well as the North-South game.   He went to the University of South Carolina on a football scholarship.  He was a member of the USC Lettermen’s Association, the Block C Club, the Gamecock Club, the Union High School Athletic Hall of Fame, and his favorite, the Fall Classic. He owned and operated Carolina Property Services.  Mr. Hodge was a member of Simpsonville United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are, three children, Susan Hodge Burnette and husband Darrell of Fountain Inn, Mary Eleanor “Ellie” Hodge of Simpsonville, and David Albert Hodge of Greenville; six grandchildren, Sara Lucile “Lucy” Burnette, William Hodge “Will” Burnette, Madeline Elise Rogers, Eleanor Welch Rogers, Hannah Elise Hodge, and James Dixon “Jed” Rogers; and a brother, Lynn Warren Hodge of Charleston.  He was predeceased by a sister, Emma Hodge Nichols.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2019 at Simpsonville United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Mike Smith and Rev. George M. Riser. 

Visitation will be immediately following the services at the Church.

Elvie “Deanie” Bailey Toney

Mrs. Elvie “Deanie” Vaughan Bailey Toney, age 86,  went home to be with her Lord, April 2, 2019.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Union, April 18, 1932, a daughter of the late Thomas and Annie Lee Lovelace Vaughan. She was a retired textile worker and a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. Mrs. Toney was a loving Mother and Grandmother.

Surviving are two daughters, Elaine Gault and husband Bobby of Union and Debra Pelham of Jonesville; a son, Timothy Bailey of the home; two sisters, Dorothy Brannon of Union and Ann Placa of Connecticut; a special friend and caregiver, Sara Manis of Union; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Steve “Daddy-O” Bailey and Rickey Bailey; a son-in-law, Steve Pelham; two grandsons; one great-grandson; a sister, Wanda Canupp; and a brother, Ray Vaughan

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Mon Aetna Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Chris Gulledge. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the church prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Lawson, Chris Lawson, Zachery Poole, Dusty Parker, Clint Bailey and John Aste.

The family wishes to express a special “Thank You” to Spartanburg Regional Hospice for their care of Mrs. Toney during her illness.

Mr. Terry Curtis Harris, age 68, of 103 Harris Circle, Union, S.C. received his heavenly wings on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Harris was born March 15, 1951 in Union, South Carolina, a son of the late Curtis Harris and Suzanne Walker Harris of Union, SC.  He was a 1969 graduate of Jonesville High School.  Mr. Harris was the owner/operator of Harris Land Clearing and Grading.   He was a member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church and was a Mason.

Surviving are a son, Brian T. Harris (Brian Cleveland) of Simpsonville, SC, a daughter, Susan Harris Gilstrap and husband Jared; and his three beloved grandchildren, Madeline, Gabriel, and Lydia Gilstrap; a brother, Tony Harris (Cindy), a sister, Joanne Harris Smith, two nephews, Jamison Moss and Kyle Harris, and a special friend, Jerry White, of Blacksburg, SC.   He was predeceased by one sister, Glennis Harris Moss.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2019 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Jerry K. McKee.    Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Tony Harris, Jamison Moss, Jerry White, Kent Garner, Ted Adams, and Chad Ponder.

Mrs. Athalee Tidwell Dickerson, formerly of Elgin, SC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the age of 86 at RAPHA Residential Center, ending her long-fought battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Mrs. Dickerson was born in Buffalo, SC to John Sexton Tidwell and Frances Robertson Tidwell and was a graduate of Union High School. She was married to Reverend Dennis Roy Dickerson, Jr., a United Methodist minister, and her love of singing was evident in her participation in the church choir in every church that her husband served. Most recently, Mrs. Dickerson was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Blythewood, SC where she had also participated in the church choir.

Mrs. Dickerson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Susan Dickerson of Elgin, SC, her grandsons, John and Cole Dickerson, both of West Columbia, SC, her sister, Mary Louise Tidwell, of Union, SC, her brother and sister-in-law, John and Heike Tidwell of West Columbia, SC, and her sister-in-law, Sarah Dickerson Hayes of Spartanburg, SC. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Anita Jayne Dickerson, two brothers, and four sisters.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Blythewood, SC with the Reverend Clyde Scott officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon immediately preceding the service Wednesday at the Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Union Memorial Gardens in Union, SC.

The family would like to express appreciation to Rapha Residential Care and Regency Southern Hospice for the loving care and compassion shown to “Mrs. Athalee.”
